Michael Alan Hamlin, CEO
Michael Alan Hamlin is the CEO of Outsource2Philippines and managing
director of TeamAsia. He is an authority on place, corporate, and
personal branding, and has made an important contribution to increasing
the place brand visibility of the Philippines as a center for business
process outsourcing (BPO) services and investment. Mr. Hamlin conceptualized
the quartely BPO industry surveys conducted by O2P in partnership
with the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP)
with the support of TeamAsia. Regular CEO Breakfast Briefings are
conducted by O2P and BPAP that focus on the results of the surveys,
and provide a venue for discussion of industry trends by respected
analysts and top executives.
An influential commentator, Mr. Hamlin has authored
or co-authored four books and many articles on management, branding,
and strategic marketing communications. He assists Asian and multinational
firms in the development of personal and corporate brand communication
strategies. Michael's most recent books are High Visibility:
Transforming Your Professional and Personal Brand, and Marketing
Asian Places. He writes a weekly column for Manila Bulletin
and a monthly column for ComputerWorld Philippines, and
Michael is a regular contributor to The Washington Times
opinion page.
His commentaries have appeared in The Wall Street
Journal Asia, Far Eastern Economic Review, and the South
China Morning Post. Michael's professional associations include
the American Society of Journalists and Authors, The Authors Guild,
The Foreign Correspondents Association (Hong Kong), Foreign Correspondents
Association of the Philippines, the International Association of
Business Communicators, the Management Association of the Philippines,
and the American Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines.
Frank Holz, Director & Consultant
Frank Holz founded O2P and was one the key industry partners responsible
for developing and marketing Accenture's Global Resource Center
in Manila, which develops software and other technology-driven solutions
for Accenture clients the world over. That center alone currently
employs approximately 4,000 ITES specialists and administrative
staff, and has been a pioneer in software development and shared
services outsourcing in the Philippines. He has also worked extensively
with the Philippine government and aid agencies in the development
of public policy supporting ITES development.
Monette Iturralde-Hamlin, Director & Treasurer
Monette Iturrade-Hamlin is a member of the board of directors of
O2P and the president and founder of TeamAsia. In her capacity as
president of TeamAsia, Ms. Hamlin organizes quarterly CEO Breakfast
Briefings for O2P and BPAP, and the annual industry conference,
the International Outsourcing Summit produced by BPAP.
Leveraging a distinguished career in international
publishing, Ms. Hamlin conceptualized and created Asia's first agency
dedicated exclusively to corporate identity development and non-traditional
marketing communications. She developed the business and creative
processes that made TeamAsia not just a pioneer in Asia, but an
arbiter of industry performance standards. She is in high demand
for her professional organizational skills, management expertise,
and attention to detail but is also a popular seminar facilitator.
Ms. Hamlin delivers workshops on Presentation Skills, Business Writing,
and Dealing with Difficult People for the BPO and other industries.
Ms. Hamlin's professional associations include the
Personnel Management Association of the Philippines and the Philippine
Association of Conference and Exhibit Organizers and Suppliers.
She is also the principal representative for TeamAsia to BPAP.
